NJHAWK
No telling what Woody will do but I imagine that he will give JJ a little rest now since we have Bibby. It just seems like he was afraid to take JJ off the court and had no trust in anyone else.

Admin
You mean the type that will not change no matter what happens? That reminds me of someone but I can't pinpoint it.
jhay610
He has to rest Joe more now. One of the main reasons for our recent fade is that Joe is wearing down. It is obvious that he has been on dead legs lately and since our end-game strategy has always been 'give Joe the ball and hope for the best' it has translated to a lot of close losses. Now we have another playmaker out there and a guy who has built a rep for hitting clutch shots. That will help cover some of woody's deficiencies as an offensive strategist (although, in his defense, players make or don't make plays at this level) and SHOULD translate to some rest for Joe. Joe's minutes need to decrease so he can get his legs back under him for the playoff push. When Bibby creates JJ is one of the few guys who can knock down a perimeter shot for us, so we need him getting that lift back on his J. We need our main cog (Joe)to get back hitting if we are gonna do anything, even in the Leastern Conference.
HawkzGM
we all know he kept joe in there for so long in every game because he is the only one who commands the team. He creates for other players, creates double teams, and basically the only one who cares anyone besides j. smoove! Now we have bibby who is also a shooter, and can definitely create for others.....this is the best thing atlanta could have done, other than j. kidd. In the long run, i think this was actually a better pic since bibby is much younger and if he does well will be here for awhile running the most athletic team ever assembled.... One Nation; Hawkz Nation!
Gray Mule
Surely you don't really believe Woody would pull JJ out of ANY game that there was a slight possibility that the Hawks could win. With Bibby, we all believe Hawks will be better. And now, you want Woody to pull JJ out for a few plays and let him catch his breath?? We'll see. Just don't act shocked when it doesn't happen. Woody change?? Huh? Who said that?? ----------------------------------------------------
jhay610
I'm not saying Joe shouldn't be out there in late game situations. He needs to catch more rest during the first 3 quarters. I would like to see him playing 30-35 minutes a game.
