Is tonight a must win?

Obviously there are still 31 games to play after tonight, but does this game fall into the "must-win" category for the Hawks?

Yes it is a must-win.

We have one day till the trading deadline, players who shouldn't be on our team (Marvin + Salim), and this trip gets NASTY after this game. Golden State is 11 games over .500......?!?!

I think this is an important game for Hawks just because they are playing a beatable team that just traded away its long-time starting point guard and now, much like the Hawks, is integrating new players. Both teams played last night so both are coming in on an equal playing field.

Plus, both teams should be extra motivated to show that the trade benefitted their respective teams more.

One advantage for the Hawks is that they actually have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs whereas Sacto is playing out the string. Gotta love the leastern conference!

There will be no excuse if we play poorly tonite. I we come out and don't score at least 45 points by halftime, we have big problems. Woodson has to have a counter-plan when teams come out and pressure us and play physical against us. It looked like LA had the "intel" to beat us and other teams will do the same thing if we don't adjust.
