The Hawk's biggest rival?

Who would you guys say it would be? There doesn't seem to be so much rivalaries in the NBA nowadays compared to the NFL and other sports. For me, I'd say it's the Knicks, although they've been pretty brutal lately.

Well back in the day..say 97 & 98 when we were actually good, I'd say it was the Hornets. But since then, they've moved to NOLA and we've moved into lotto land every year; tho we still haven't seen the fruits of that "labor". Thanks Pete...

yea i agree with the Hornets. Even some games/magazines back in the day had our TEAM as Hornets rivals... but since players are being traded left and right and with FREE AGENCY moving players around, its not the same.

theres no longer a KNICK/HEAT rivarly either.

But on a good note- it would be nice to have NEW ORLEANS as our rival since Mr. BigMouth JOE HORN believes we're not good enuf to be the Saints rivals.

I would say we have a little rivalry with the pacers. With the exception of this past season we always play them pretty good,even on their homecourt. Jason Terry and Jamal Tinsley seem to have a little rivalry also going.

For years, our rival was Detroit. They would knock us out the playoffs, we would knock them out... etc....etc.

Then in Lenny years, it changed to Indy and NY. Although Reggie earned the title of Hawks Killer.

Now? Who knows. I think it just might be New Orleans because we rival them so well in Football and you have the JT vs Davis matchup.
