Woody benching Marvin for Chillz in 4th overlooked

I had predicted that Paul Pierce would find a way to impose his will on the game and focus on Marvin Williams, and he did. And Woody finally got tired of Marvin's poor defensive positioning and benched him in favor of Childress.

Marvin also lost the ball several times while attempting to go to the basket which resulted in Celtic transition baskets.

There are Marvin supporters who say I am 'hating', but his poor play gave momentum back to Boston, and Woody came to his senses and sat him down for good in the fourth quarter..

If Marvin would have stayed in, the Hawks would have likely lost the game. Pierce would have got his way and his revenge.

Marvin is the 'weakest link', but Woody's benching helped the Hawks overall, and JJ took the team on his back down the stretch.

Marvin was the only Hawk in the 3rd to have any offensive success. Woodson did the right thing by keeping Marvin in while JJ/Bibby were cold, and again did the right thing by inserting Childress for energy in the 4th.

This series is obvious that Chillz is more valuable than Marvin. However, let's just enjoy the team victory!!!

Judas Priest man let it go. Marv helped tonight he got us rolling w a J a steal and two free throws either late in the 3rd or early in the 4th. He did a nice job hitting his mid range when Joe created for him. Everybody played well from JJ to Solo. Give it a rest.
