A)Ratliff for Camby + White

both Ratliff/Camby have 2 years left, White has 1

Pros

1)Camby is the better rebounder and does have defense. He rebounded close to Ratliffs numbers with 10 minutes less playing time. Thats all we need as a center next to Reef- rebounder that plays defense

2)MJ fell in love with White before he went Pro... but then again, it could be a North Carolina thing.

3)Whites contract is up after this upcoming year (another financial move), if it doesnt work it- we just dont sign him and save $2-3 million or so...

Cons

1)If u think Ratliff is injured prone, Camby is worse!

2)White is another tweener?

B)Ratliff + Henderson for Finley + A Johnson

Pros

1)19.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.0 apg... and hes not even the first option in dallas.

2)Finley has been consistant throughout his career.

3)We get rid of Henderson

4)Avery's contract is up after this year and hes a very good lockeroom postive-guy.

Cons

1)Finley is 30 years old

2)his contract ends 2007/2008 @ 18.5 million! in other words, 1 major injury or a sudden decline in game and we are doomed!

but the thought of Terry/Finley/Diaw/Abdur-Rahim/Mohammed sounds very good for a EASTERN CONFERENCE team....
