Getting Odom....

Miami really wants Odom.

I think Riley going out there to work out a trade.

However, I think it's a possible three or 4 way needed.

Miami sends Grant to Dallas. Dallas send NVE to LAC. LAC sends Odom to Miami.

Unfortunately that doesn't work unless Dallas sends Miami back something like Eschemeyer or Bradley.

However, is there room for us in that deal?

Miami send Dallas Grant. Dallas Sends Atlanta Finley. Atlanta send LAC Theo. Miami gets Odom/CC.

That would work... BUT would you want Finley over Odom?

Atlanta Sends LAC Theo/Dickau. LAC sends Atlanta Odom/Wilcox.

LAC would do a Odom/Wilcox for Theo/Dickau, I'd be all for it but I don't see them doing it. As far as the other deal goes, I really think a Theo/CC for Finley is a good deal for us. I know C's are hard to come by but like most of you have said, is Ratliff really a C? I really like the potential of a JT/Finley/Diaw trio. They all bring different things to the table. Finley is better than average 3rd scorer, too. He'd probably move ahead of JT and let JT focus more on distribution. But if we do move Ratliff, I'd want to make another deal for a player like Dale Davis. If there was a way to get Finley/Davis in a deal involving Ratliff/Nazr/Dickau/Hendu/CC, I'd be all for it.
