No, resigning Mike Woodson was the first real test of his abilities.

The next test of his abilities was to resign Josh Childress, which he failed to do.

He failed to resign Josh Smith so far.

Of course, we are not sure if Michael Gearon is Gm or if Rick Sund is.

Obviously that depends on who is signed. If Childress was signed to $ 6 million per year then yes i would agree but since we have at least $10 million to spend on free agents, I don't think it will be spent on just Richardson and West

Childress was offered a fair deal. He is not worth more then what he got. I don't blame him for taking the much greater deal overseas. It sucks to lose him for nothing but it happens and we can find replaceable players. However, this team can not lose Smith for nothing. The resigning must happen or a good sign and trade needs to take place. We have a 10 million over 6 years on the table. Its not like we have not offered a fair deal for Smith. I think Europe is just screwing things up now. It sucks because we are going to have to give him more money then he deserves.
