A new Fast and the Furious movie

Jubk. I hope it really tanks at the box office so that they don't make anymore. But of course it will not and they'll continue to make crappy sequels in the future. I heard that Vin Diesel didn't play in the last one because he wanted like 30 million or something. Either the studio gave in, or he realized his career is rightfully nearing dead and he needed to be in something that made money before.

I am sorry but I have always found those movies to be lame. However, that doesn't mean I won't go see it. I guarantee you I will but only to find hillarious s*** to make fun of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. We always like to make fun of how lame they are in their movies. Ever see the Pacifier? 2 Fast 2 Furious? XXX? I found them all to be lame but we laughed so hard about how those guys were in the movies. Its just like Arnold Schwarzenegerrer all over again, Pacifer=Kindergarten Cop and you can decide all the other actions movies to be Predator, True Lies, Total Recall, Terminator...

Sorry, Terminator, T2, Predator, True Lies and Eraser are entertaining movies. I don't think I've seen Vin play in an entertaining movie as of yet. None at all. Arnold atleast picked a few entertaining movies to be apart of it. So your claim is bogus if you were bashing those Arnold movies. T2 is probably a top 5 action movie ever. The first was an outstanding low budget gritty chase movie. I would take almost anything Arnold did in the 80's over the best Vin Diesel or best Paul Walker movie. Paul Walker is one of the most lifeless actors in the biz. Atleast Arnold had charisma.

I was pretty big in the import scene and while I appreciate what those movies did for the scene, their were a great deal of innacuracies in them as well. I enjoyed the first 2 movies (even though the acting was subpar) and "endured" the 3rd one. I'll see the next one, especially if it's the original cast.

I'm shocked that you think something is junk.

I think that most of them are lame but the 1st one was very entertaining. I haven't really liked Vin Diesel in much else but I thought he was pretty good in the 1st FF. The 2nd one had a pretty lame plot but I liked Ludacris, Tyrese, and one of my favorite underrated actors Cole Hauser. I'm not crazy about Paul Walker outside of FF either but he was good in Into The Blue (or maybe it was just Jessica Alba in a bikini that made him seem good).

Speaking of Ahnold, Predator and True Lies were awesome movies. I can't believe anyone wouldn't like those. Even hots liked them and he hates anything that's not a crappy western.

Crappy westerns? I shouldn't be surprised considering your bad taste in movies. Somebody that says Fast in the Furious is good or entertaining really doesn't have much room to talk about crappy movies. Tyrese good? LMAO. These is a reason he stars in crap like Four Brothers, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Waist Deep. Bargin bin junk. His new masterpiece Death Race should be in theaters soon.

You probably think the new Friday the 13th movie is going to be good. Wouldn't shock me if you liked the Texas Chainsaw remake.

Some people have taste. Some people don't like this low brow commercial trash with crappy wooden actors. I'll watch Jesse James and you can stick to Rush Hour 3. K?

The key to making low brow commercial trash watchable is to have entertaining or good actors in them. Sometimes they can make a crappy movie entertaining. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker ain't going to get it done.

It's not hard to go through your history in this forum and list the movies that you like that most people find to be crappy. Especially that incredibly boring Jesse James movie. Snore!!!

I do think that the new F13 will be good and yeah I also liked the Chainsaw remake, as did most people that saw it. You see your problem is that you sit in your little hole and watch movies at home instead of going to to theater and getting the full experience, so it's not shocking that you usually think movies that most people like are crap.

Yeah? Which people are you referring to because you are almost never in the majority when it comes to judging movies.

By the way, you'll NEVER hear me say something positive about Rush Hour 3. That movie was awful.

There is a reason these movies star crappy or washed up actors. Cause they suck.

I'd say alot of people like my favorite movies. If you think T2, Taxi Driver, Dog Day Afternoon along others. Do you realize how clueless you really sound?

Jesse James has a 7.8/10 rating on IMDB with over 32,000 votes. I'd say more than a couple of people liked it.

There is a reason Jesse James stars Casey Affleck, Brad Pitt and Sam Rockwell and Texas Chainsaw Massacre stars Jessica Biel and Hartman once again doing his one note army type of character. Nuff said.

I liked alot of movies from last year: The Lookout, Jesse James, 3:10, Hot Fuzz, There Will Be Blood, No Country, Rat, Rescue Dawn, Knocked Up, Superbad. Just to name a few. And you want to talk about majority? In america, McDonald's hamburgers sell like hotcakes. Think about that.

As long as it doesnt have Lil Bow Wow it should be some what decent. I have never been a fan of this movie series because of what it did to the whole import scene once it came out. IMO it ruined for the ones that were really doing it for the love instead of trying to be the next cool thing parked slanted taking up two parking spaces at your local AMC.

Some of the inaccuracies of the top of my head was when someone mentioned they had a cold air intake and a turbo, also johnny tran had a Honda 2000

I'm not talking about your "favorite" movies as those are well liked movies, for the most part. What I'm talking about is that you rarely agree with most of us around here on movies, usually calling them crap or garbage and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed that. It's pretty much your mantra for everything though since you seem to be a very unhappy person.

I still haven't met a single person that liked Jesse James. By the way, Jessica Biel and R. Lee Ermey (who is Hartman??) are bigger stars than Casey Affleck and equally as big (if not bigger) than Sam Rockwell. Sure Brad Pitt is in it, but he's been in plenty of bad movies. Also, I find it ironic, at best, that you are now going to use the IMDB rating as your defense when you have said such negative things about it in the past.

Around here?? I don't get the impression that's what you meant before... But whatever.

R.Lee Ermey is a bigger star than Affleck? I'm sorry, but that's stupid. Dude was in two very well known movies last in the Jesse James movie, but also Gone Baby Gone. Anyway, I highly doubt he would be hurt if a dumb molehill bag like Biel was more popular than him. Biel isn't really known that much for her acting. Not as if you'd know or care. Decent acting clearly isn't very high on your list. Looking at it from your point of view:

Paris Hilton> Daniel Day Lewis. She is more well known than him... Therefore she must also be better. Britney Spears is more well known. Guess she must be better too.

I don't need to any defense. Your laughable point of view speaks for it's self. Your argument here is something I would expect to hear from a 15 year old teenage girl. Not a 31 year old man. I'll tell you what, you stick to your fast food movies and I'll watch my movies. I wouldn't want you to watch anything that actually causes you to think. I don't really care who agrees with me anyway. As I said, George Bush was elected president twice in a row and look at how crap like McDonalds sells. That says enough about alot of my fellow americans. Even if I was the only one that liked JJ.... It wouldn't matter.

Don't turn this stuff around on me man. You started popping off to/about me first. I never made any comments against you.

Well it's damn hard for me to know whether you agree with people that aren't on here, isn't it?

I haven't looked up the numbers but I'd bet that Full Metal Jacket made more combined in it's time (relative to the economy) than both your precious Jesse James movie and Gone Baby Gone (although I will say I really liked Gone Baby Gone).

Now you are bringing Hollywood personalities and singers in to compare against actors? Umm, ok. FYI Daniel Day Lewis is one of my favorite actors so that's a pretty stupid argument that you just made.

You should just stick to hiding in your cave all day, browsing eBay for the next "great" deal rather than commenting about things that actually happen out in the sunlight.

So you were able to find ~10 posts where you aren't negative? How about we hold a poll and ask the members of Hawksquawk who the most miserable and negative poster is and see where you stack up. I'd put my salary up that says you would finish first by a landslide. I have nothing against you personally, but the constant negative comments get very tiring.

I'm... Not following you....

I was stating that I appreciate the movies giving the import scene some recognition. When I was in it, I managed a large import performance/car audio store. Those movies did wonders for our business. We were the only high end performance parts store in our area that was mainstream.

The inaccuracies I was referring to was simply things like cars shifting through 8 or 9 gears in scenes, certain things supposedly doing things to cars that they really don't. Stuff like that. I know it's movies, but the hardcore fans caught those things.

I think the timing on this 4th movie might be a little late. The import scene seems to have died down a little. The economy has even hurt it somewhat.

FYI, I am a member of one of the largest car clubs in the U.S. and used to shoot for a couple of car mags. That's how I got my name "dragitoff". I sold my last magazine/show car about 1 year and a half ago, but still love cars of all types and even car movies.

Honestly, I don't care which sells the most. I don't have to leech on to whatever is popular. Maybe you're a trendy type of guy, but not everybody is. CA is by far a better actor than Hartman and his one dimensional style of acting. But hey, what would you care... What sells the most is what is the best to you. So, I don't expect you to understand what I'm saying.

Paris Hilton has been in movies. Would you rather me say Lindsey Lohan instead? The point stays the same. She is probably more known than Daniel Day Lewis. Doesn't make her better.

Friday the 13th.... From the director of Bad Boys 2.... Come watch the masterpiece today!

I'm talking about this forum here. I'm aware that I'm negative toward the Hawks... Because they deserve it. They haven't been relevant since I was in middle school for god sakes.

You're right it's probably too late for this movie but hopefully if they have enough crazy stunts (like in the trailer) it will still be worth watching.

That's pretty cool that you are into that stuff though. If you ever feel like donating a supercharger for my TL I'd sure appreciate it! :angel19:
