Swish
Any of y'all seen Eric Berry, Tennessee free safety play? I have never seen ANYONE play this hard, this fast or anything. He is absolutely ridiculous. Easily the top defensive player in the SEC and most talented on the Vols' roster. He'll probably leave this year and be a first round pick. Check this crap out! ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> Then, this HUGE hit on Knowshon Moreno...gotta love how he just walks away like, yeah, that was easy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk7Oj8wmRLQ
jhay610
Yeah he's a dream back there at safety, an absolute stud. He's a ball-hawk with great hands and a very big hitter. Most good safeties are either/or. From an Atlanta high school, I believe. I remember back in camp when Fulmer was talking about how impressive he was. We're talking about a true freshman getting his first taste of SEC football and he already had the coach raving. Of course there hasn't been much else to cheer about for Vols fans. Tennessee's best offensive play this year has been the Eric Berry interception return. Edited October 27, 2008 by jhay610
Swish
Yeah, we are trying to get him snaps on offense but the season is lost so who cares? Thats why I brought it up--lone bright spot are his hits/INTs.
hussamga
Its hard to watch Tenn play..but if you do catch a glimpse, Berry stands out. I dont know jack from jill on the team, but Berry was great. I put him just behind USC freak safety...that guy is a specimen, but i think Berry is a better playmaker. Deeman
I have been watching him since he was a senior ih H.S. He was a straight beast at QB and safety. It's a shame he didn't go to UGA when he had a chance too.

High5
He's an awesome player, but those helmet hits are going to come back and bite him eventually.
Swatguy
He was absolutely the best freshman H.S. quarterback (Creekside) I have ever seen. I called my son after seeing and said "Son, I have seen the future and his name is Eric Berry".
