No surgery...I've been talking about the Falcons

offensive line for years and years. Just sitting here

and watching their subpar offensive line ticks me

off...I'm sure it was frustrating for Vick...

But Doug Johnson has even more tools than last

year...Price will help....Crumpler probably will

produce more this year aswell....

If their defense can keep games close they'll be

fine.

First report was 10-12 weeks before Vick could return.

Other, later reports say, maybe only 6 weeks. That is

still a long time, but Falcons have a dandy back-up

Q.B. in Johnson, so all is not lost.

I believe they still have 2 pre-season games to prepare

for the opener. Then, if we are lucky, M.V. only misses

the first four.

Falcons have more weapons than M.V. available to them.

They will make full use of them now. It is still a team

game and the team will still do good.

Johnson will need more than Price. And so will Vick. The loss of Vick's mobility means that the Falcons will be relying on his arm. I think Johnson is a good QB but the line will have to do better. If Blanks is going to spend big money, he needs to take a page from the Cowboys and BUY a line.

It would be nice to have Jamal Anderson of a few years ago who can make the defense respect the run....

Top priority -- Offensive line. They have some decent

recievers and a pretty good starting O. line but the

back up players here have yet to prove themselves.

As the offensive line goes, so go the Falcons, no matter

who the Q.B. may be.

after vick of course... lol

but bein serious here. our WR roster is good enough in this league. While Price isint Moss/Owens/Harrison, hes 1 tier below them. A very good player. Kinda like Shareef being compared to Duncan/Garnett? Then theres Brian Finneran who was clearly our best wide receiver last year. While he wont be mistaken for Hines Ward, the guy will produce. Now that hes moved to 2nd option, hes not the primary focus for CBs/Safetys. Martay Jenkins/Quentin McCord still have some work to do but both arent too bad for 3rd/4th wide receiver spots.

but our O line needs to take the pressure off of Vick.
