Theo/CC/Vaughn (SNT) To Orlando

for

Hill/Hunter

This is it. Atlanta's chance to do something SMART.

I believe the reports on Hill. He's back.

I would take him.

I believe the Magic like either Hill or Miller. However, they need a PF and a C.

My trade facilitates that.

They get Vaughn in SNT which allows them to trade Armstrong for Fortson.

In the end they have:

Theo/Fortson/Miller/T-Mac/Vaughn.

in the end we have:

Nazr/SAR/Hill/DJ/JT.

we would be the most Potent team around with the all around game of hill, the shooting of JT, and the scoring of SAR!

I hate to say this, but I actually really like that.

The big question is do you believe Hill will recover or do you believe Theo will recover. Based on reports, they will both recover.

I think you need another trade to accompany this one for us. I would like to get a good backup center with some muscle. Say an Ervin Johnson, Dampier or someone like that.

JT/DD

DJ/Ira/Email

Hill/DG

SAR/Hendu

Nazr/Hunter/???

That is a good team. We still lack a lot in interior defense, but Hendu could be the backup center and not get pushed around a lot. Like I said, if we could get a trade for a MASS guy, we would look really good. DJ would have to start doing some slashing to the basket.

Hill would have to be completly healthy...although he is only

a 15/4/4 player now that would really help us and he has the

potential to have big numbers on any give night.

I think Both Hill and Theo are coming back healthy...

No doubt.

Both with a clean bill of health.

Even so, neither team as they are are set for a run in the playoffs.

BUT....

Give them Theo, give us Hill

Give them Vaughn/CC.

Give us Hunter and we have the makings for both teams meeting in the ECF.

As far as getting a solid player at C.

There's one other tinkering thing we can do....

Nazr/Davis to Portland.... DD to Atlanta.

That's slicing it tight on the cash.

I think that's 6.0 million from us, 6.5 million in DD. I think? Actually davis is making a bit more than a million so the deal should work?

anywho, we'd have:

Dale Davis/Steven Hunter

SAR/Hendu/Smith

Hill/Toni

DJ/Glover/Ira

JT/DD

With this lineup, we could win the east.... PLUS we have two young guys in Hunter and Smith learning C.

I'd go for this deal...but then I'd look to swing a cheap deal

to get Abdoyal Foyle due to his shot blocking ability off the

bench.

What do you think it would take to get him?

From what I hear...Hunter is doing very poorly in the summer league.

I think I'd rather trade for Grant Hill and go after Foyle to shot block

off the bench.

You wont get any complaints from me on this deal. Grant Hill at 90% is a better player than Theo at 100%, although he doesnt quite fill the role on our team that Theo does. If you can get a deal to get us Davis, or better yet Jerome James, then I wouldnt hesitate to make this deal.

How about we re-work that second deal for Dale Davis and change it some way to get us Brent Barry/Jerome James? Could we send them Email/Nazr/Dion for those two guys? I would love to have Barry as I found out last year in the fantasy league that he is one of the most well rounded guys in the NBA. He brings it every night and doesnt take shots away from his teammates to get his points, plus he rebounds, blocks shots, and gets his teammates involved. James is a stud player evloving as we speak. Shaq loves him, and after the solid year he put up last year thats enough for me to give him our starting job if we trade Theo for Hill.

James is a free agent right now.

Barry Makes about 5 million right now.

The deal you propose would mean that we give James an offer sheet of about 2.12 million to start?

I don't know if Seattle wants Nazr that badly... Especially if they can get James back for so little.

However, Dale Davis is on the blocks.

He's experienced.

He's tough. We need toughness.

We can easily get him for Davis/Nazr.
