Blunt91
http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slug=ys-wrestlerdeath120509&prov=yhoo&type=lgns I always like the character of Umaga, thought he moved very well for a guy his size.
dms269
I didn't like how he was brought out to be an unstoppable force. He wasn't very tall but he did have some weight behind him. Worst finisher of all time with that spike. The hipcheck into the turnbuckle was fine, but the spike was horrible. Too bad he got addicted to pain killers like so many wrestling stars. Makes you wonder how many of them who don't take roids take pain killers. It would be interesting to see who actually don't take roids. We can guess but... Blunt91
I guess they wanted to make him look like a real life monster, hence the unbeatable tag when the character first came out. I used to like hearing the guy that was his manager Armondo Estrada(sp). I guess the wwe got rid of him too. You do know that the Asiatic spike was a old school move alot of Asian wrestlers used back in the 80's, although it wasn't used as a finisher. Because the news will only pick up the big name people, like eddie or benoit.
Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted January 16, 2010 Moderators Report Share Posted January 16, 2010 Had to throw "Dr. Death" Steve Williams into the list, too, he almost got to age 50. Loved the UWF years. ~lw3
