Seattle Seahawks coach Jim Mora has been fired after just one season, the team announced Friday.

The news comes in a stunning reversal by the Seahawks, given CEO Tod Leiweke strongly endorsed Mora six weeks ago when general manager Tim Ruskell stepped down in midseason.

However, the Seahawks finished in disarray, losing their last four games to close out a 5-11 season.
