AnthonyI11
Would any of you guys like to have Rasaul Butler from the Clippers as either our back up small foward or starting small foward? He would be ideal in our starting lineup to me because he's a great spot up shooter.. something Marvin is struggling at this year. Butler is not shy to put up shots and he is much more balanced than Marvin. We would lose defense. Butler gets lazy on defense at times.. Marvin is usually a solid defender because he is 6'9'' 240lbs. Anyways, it was just a thought as a great corner 3 jump shooter. Watcha guys thinks? Premium Member mrhonline Posted March 18, 2010 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 18, 2010 Butler is a minor improvement over Evans, at best. The guy I want is Ryan Gomes. Tons of heart and much cheaper. (A better perimeter shooter, too).

My old boss (Providence Alumni) told me this guy would be good in the NBA (despite his marginal size (for a PF) and Providence's average/poor record when he was there). I've followed him off and on when I can and would love to have him on this team. He isn't a star but he brings effort and work ethic. Would be a nice addition.
