Wonder which rookie from last year Joe is throwing under the bus?
Moderators AHF Posted May 31, 2010 Moderators Report Share Posted May 31, 2010 Clearly the Pistons have way too much talent to be able to work a rookie into their rotation.
Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted May 31, 2010 Moderators Report Share Posted May 31, 2010 I'm sure it was Daye, their 1st rounder. With Tayshaun out of commission, he probably didn't bank on losing minutes to some guy named Jonas Jerebko. ~lw3
xhawk
If this is the case, why won't he just trade his picks. Why draft someone that you are not going to use nor even develop? What good is a young player with no experience nor any confidence?

It isn't always a death knell for young players to get highly limited time -- as can be seen from the case of Tayshaun Prince -- but I agree that you ordinarily need some consistent time to develop young players.
