Remember the Hubie Brown radio interview that talked about coaching and offensive systems? I seem to recall him saying about Pierce in that interview that Pierce hadn't lost a half-step, he had lost a full step. I have my doubts that Pierce is going to get what he wants.

I think this is just to re-do his deal to try to help keep the team together while ensuring a deal before the new CBA. He'll sign for a lower yearly amount, saving the celtics luxury tax money.

Doc Rivers needs to make up his mind b/c if he is gone the Celtics may let both Allen and Pierce walk for nothing and starft another rebuild.

Completely disagree. Paul has never relied on athletic ability. He will be good for 4-6 more years IMO.

Hawks aren't getting him anyway though. We are stuck to wait and see with JJ.
