Falcons: Any Interest in Leinart?

No idea if the Falcons even batted an eye when Matt Leinart got released today. Any way they would want something behind Ryan other than Redman and JPW?

Personally, I have much more faith in Redman. That said, Leinart has much more upside...none of which anyone should bank on.

My guess is Leinart has "Marvin upside"...talent but lacking in dedication. I'll take a less gifted overacheiver anyday.

Lienart does not have natural ability like Marvin does, in my opinion.

He was a product of playing on a stacked a team, in a weak conference, with a weak schedule in college. R. Bush was able to make screen passes into 50 yard TDs. He looked like crap in preseason. Bad foot work, super slow, and a noodle arm. No leadership skills at all. He handles the press like a spoiled brat to boot.

I would be shicked if anyone picks him up. You don't want your backup QB to be a spoiled brat.

Looks like the Texans just picked him up. Schaubie will have Leinart and Orlovsky backing him up.
