Premium Member Diesel Posted November 20, 2010 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 20, 2010 For argument sake, let's say the deal is Crawford/Marvin/Teague for Billups/JR Smith... Let's just say that Denver went for that. It gives us: Billups/Bibby JR Smith/JCraw2 Joe/Mo Smoove/Powell Horf/Zaza as our steady 8 man rotation, probably drop JCraw2 and Mo and we run those 6 most of the time. Maybe bring in a kid like Richard Delk and give him a few 10 day deals. Raise up JC2 as a OG. I think he could learn something from Billups. In the Offseason hunt for a swingman. Why would Denver do this... They are in rebuilding mode. They won't have an identity when Melo leaves so why hold on to a championship chaser? Teague backs up Lawson, Marvin plays Sf/PF for that team. Craw will give them some cap relief.
Marvin24Williams
I think having Billups won't do much. Hes playing now like his age has finally caught up to him like Bibbs. Don't get me wrong though, he is a definite upgrade over Bibby. I think we should trade for a young PG
GameTime
Honestly seeing Billups this year im not sure he is a definite upgrade over Bibby. Definitely not worth trading the world for.
