But, Indiana would want someone that can play C to replace Hibbert
Brokentree
Hibbert and Collison combined make around 3 million dollars this year. There are rules to these trades you know.

Oh yea whoops... but they've gotta have a big contract they can throw in to make salaries work. Is Dunleavy still with them?
Admin capstone21 Posted December 5, 2010 Admin Report Share Posted December 5, 2010 Oh yea whoops... but they've gotta have a big contract they can throw in to make salaries work. Is Dunleavy still with them? Why is Indiana going to trade Hibbert and Collision? With Granger, Posey and Paul George and on the team they don't need Marv. Teague has not shown he can play extended minutes so they are going to give up their starting pg and c to get a PF. The trade does not make sense for them. warcore
Why is Indiana going to trade Hibbert and Collision? With Granger, Posey and Paul George and on the team they don't need Marv. Teague has not shown he can play extended minutes so they are going to give up their starting pg and c to get a PF. The trade does not make sense for them. Horford is a possible future HOF, that's why they give up Collison and Hibbert. Posey can be part of the trade for all I care... he simply doesn't matter anymore. Marvin may show promise and he can play the power forward spot for an indiana team with crap for PF (Horford would play C, just like here). So the 3,4 & 5 is Granger, Marv and Horf. I agree with you about Teague... but for whatever reason, other teams in the league think he has value. If they don't want him, they can trade him for Jason Thompson to help up front after the loss of Hibbert. So, you wouldn't even contact Indiana to discuss the possibilities? Gotta be aggressive to get somewhere.
