Rob Parker STILL has a journalism job somehow

"Worst sports town" blogs and articles about Atlanta pop up every year or so, so that's nothing new. But in trying to give some fodder for NYC football fans on ESPNNewYork.com, he has managed to enrage southerners AND embarrass my fellow northerners with his ignorance, at the same time.

Including such gems as...

Your typical Atlanta fan -- who is probably from another city since so few are actually from ATL -- will be preoccupied with something else. They might not even be sure what time the game is on.

In fact, at some point, they might ask a friend -- filled with sweet tea -- at a pork-saturated barbeque, "Are the Falcons playing today?"

Pathetic.

It's so wretched, he's actually had to edit (or, have edited for him) some of the most absurd writing ever written by an alleged professional in any profession.

Whose dirty pictures did he get, after the Marinelli son-in-law debacle, to worm his way into ANY sports journalism job, much less one at the Worldwide Leader, getting smacked down weekly by Skip Bayless in between concocting pointless, thoughtless, crappy space-wasters like this? As Terry Bradshaw said quite accurately,

"You're a disgrace to your profession, my friend. You're a total idiot."
