From Billy Knight's words, I don't think we will hold on to Ekizie... However, there might be room for him when he heals... NEXT season.

Ekizie showed us that we could probably use a big man with some size.

To stick with that principle, I say we give Jameel Watkins a chance after Houston Cuts him.

Yao is playing some awesome ball and he has Cato and Ameechi behind him. I think Watkins will be cut but Watkins is not so bad.

He can come in and rebound and block shots.

Mil just released Jason Caffey.

He would be a good fit at our 5th big f/c.

He would play behind SAR/Hendu/Theo/Nazr.

If one of them go down he is a better option to help fill in some minutes then a lot of the other big guys out there.

This ought to tick someone or two off here but if it's a big bruising rebounding body we want, why not Alvin Jones.

Not a starter mind you, but one [censored] of a big body and shot blocker of the bench.

That's always been my choice, Alvin Jones Jr. Barring injuries, I really dont see our 5th bigman getting any playing time but it would be good to have backup just for those few foul/injury problematic nights. I really think we need more of a center body like Jones over Ekezie anyways.
