gurpilo
Blazers signed Dorrell Wright for 2 years, 6M$, just one million more than DeMarre Carroll, that's the difference between Portland and Atlanta, Wright could have been starting at Atlanta very easily given our lack of reliable wing players, he was one of the best out there, now we will have to play 6th tier FAs. gurpilo
Or maybe Danny did not think Wright would be a good fit for our team. Just a thought. A SF with size, good defender and can shot the 3 pt with good accuracy for a team without any SF??? You are right, not a good fit....
taz
Maybe he has character or mental issues?
vext
Maybe Wright didn't want to play here? He does seem the better option. Carroll has been in the league for 3 years compared to 8 years for Wright. Maybe Ferry thinks Carroll has more potential? Who knows?
drzachary
We missed out on Dorrell Wright? Trade everyone. Time to tank.
gurpilo
No, it's not time to tank but tells you the difference on value we have to pay for the same production. I mean we have paid the same amount of money for a guy averaging 6 ppg, 3 rpg on his best season against a player that averaged 16 ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apg, that's the history for us.
