Blazers signed Dorrell Wright for 2 years, 6M$, just one million more than DeMarre Carroll, that's the difference between Portland and Atlanta, Wright could have been starting at Atlanta very easily given our lack of reliable wing players, he was one of the best out there, now we will have to play 6th tier FAs.

Maybe Wright didn't want to play here? He does seem the better option. Carroll has been in the league for 3 years compared to 8 years for Wright. Maybe Ferry thinks Carroll has more potential? Who knows?

No, it's not time to tank but tells you the difference on value we have to pay for the same production. I mean we have paid the same amount of money for a guy averaging 6 ppg, 3 rpg on his best season against a player that averaged 16 ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apg, that's the history for us.
