JTB
That goes back to what someone posted the other day about players can still be developed well past their "prime" but coaches often give up on the "older" players. Wesley isn't an 18 year old rookie but in the NBA he's never had top notch coaching like he'd get here. I had no idea that Ferry had offered him a contract but disappointed he chose the Lakers over us. Maybe our season showed him that we are worth playing for. Lol that was my thread the other day...when I heard the "BIG O" say it on nba radio about how he thought it was stupid for coaches to give up on developing a player at the age of 27 and so on... Anyways I didn't know we offered Wesley Johnson a contract. I bet we could get him and Xavier this year if ferry tried.
Moderators AHF Posted May 28, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted May 28, 2014 Turner and Johnson are a whole year apart so clearly one is young with upside and the other is too old to develop.
