Premium Member Diesel Posted July 9, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 Three-team trade will see Nets acquire Jarrett Jack and Sergey Karasev from Cleveland. Boston gets Thornton, Zeller and a first.

Admin
Damn the Cavs are giving up a lot of talent here in Zeller, Karasev and a 1st. They must be just about certain that they're getting Lebron.
Moderators macdaddy Posted July 9, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 Look at Ainge getting a first. That's a pretty nice move. What are the Celts trading?
Moderators macdaddy Posted July 9, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 Man if Lebron doesn't go to Cleveland he may not be able to play games there anymore. Too risky.
Hairydawgz
Boston got some nice assets in that deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ATLSmith
Dumb move by the Cavs. They should have continued to build through the draft since they have so many young talented players. But instead they just traded away young talent in Zeller along with a future building block. Even if they get LBJ, I just don't see it working out, at least not for a year or two. Boston is the obvious winner in this deal. Zeller is a stud AND they get a Cavs first round pick (not sure if protected at this point though). So, on the bright side, if Miami is breaking up then the Hawks better win the division next season. Edited July 9, 2014 by ATLSmith
Ebert
Cleveland is so desperate they gave away a first round last year for Deng even if they knew they wouldn't keep him... that staff is crazy

Adreian Wojnarowski: Boston gets: Marcus Thornton-Tyler Zeller, Cavs 2016 protected pick. Top 10 in '16, '17 or '18. Unprotected in '19. hazer
Think of it this way: it either brings Lebrawn home or lands them another trip to the lottery next year (if protected) to add to Kyrie and Wiggins. I admire their swing for the fences.
