bird_dirt
So Squawkers....your dreams have been heard, and Bud is following up on them.So many have been clamoring for a BIG lineup, particularly since Tiago's arrival, that placed Horf at PF and Sap at SF. Well, Bud is trying it out according to this little snippet:http://www.hoopsrumors.com/2015/10/southeast-rumors-wizards-lamb-hawks.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebookMixed results as of now, though, so don't bet the house on it becoming a permanent fixture. I haven't been able to watch any preseason games, but have any of you that have witnessed this first hand?
Canopy
I think Coach Bud tried the big lineup in Pelicans game, which was not televised. I don't recall seeing it in Cavs game.May be we will see in other upcoming preseason games.
Gray Mule
And, down a the end of the bench resides the biggest Hawk of all.We don't expect to see him a lot after pre season. In fact, someD-league team (Hawks don't have their own) may be his home thisseason as much as Atlanta. It happened to Moose last season.Just remember, in the very back of your mind, the Hawks haveone giant center, as big as any team has. Walter Tavares shouldbe around a long time. Admin capstone21 Posted October 13, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted October 13, 2015 unless its against big lineups I don't see it being very successful. Paul trying to guard the speedy small forwards will be difficult. Although he could give them trouble in the post on the other end.

hazer
Personally I can't wait to see Splitter, Bawse, and Trillsap on the floor together. Even just limited minutes.

Bud's system makes use of versatile players who can play at multiple positions so they can be part of the rotation. We'll see the big lineup as part of the regular rotation for a few minutes in most games.
