HawkItus
ATLANTA HAWKS (11-8) Just coming off a 20 pt. thrashing by the Spurs. We have time.
Lurker
There's still time but there will have to be adjustments made again and this time they will have to be even more bold than the simple ones of last season.
Moderators macdaddy Posted November 29, 2016 Moderators Report Share Posted November 29, 2016 I'm really not seeing where a lineup of Dennis/Hardaway/Prince/Sap/Howard has much downside. We don't have to start it but move Tim and Prince in there in the first quarter rather than the usual Moose crossing at the 7 minute mark.

Most of Korver's minutes need to be seen with Thabo and Muscala (later, maybe Scott). That's another idea assuming Bazemore doesn't get it together, something like this could happen: 1. Bazemore a token starter. 10 minutes at the start of halves and spot minutes after it. 2. Korver spends 10 minutes with the starting unit, then 10 minutes with a bench unit that has Thabo/Muscala. Then spot minutes. Not hard and fast, but something like this could happen: Korver and Bazemore exit for Hardaway Jr and Prince at around the 7 minute mark. At around the 2 minute mark of the first quarter, Korver returns with Thabo and Muscala to play 5 minutes against a bench unit. The main bench unit ends up being Delaney/Korver/Sefolosha/Millsap/Muscala (or Scott, in which if it is Millsap would be the center). Repeat in the second half. The players playing the best get to finish in the 4th quarter. No agenda making, just try to find a formula that works on the wing. No excuses, it can't be about "getting Bazemore going". Same with Korver.
