Following their worst shooting performance of the season Tuesday night in New Orleans, the Portland Trail Blazers (29-37) hope to rebound on Wednesday as they visit the San Antonio Spurs (52-14) in the Lone Star State. The Spurs have taken each of the two previous meetings with the Blazers thus far in 2016-17.  Damian Lillard leads Portland with an average of 26.3 points per game, and has scored 20-plus points in 13 of 15 career games against the Spurs. His backcourt mate CJ McCollum is coming off a 29-point performance in San Antonio on December 30, his highest career output versus the Spurs. The Spurs are led by Kawhi Leonard's 26.3 points per game, shooting 48.5% from the field and 38.2% from deep this season. Six-time NBA All-Star Pau Gasol is averaging 12.1 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds in his first season as a Spur.  Wednesday's action tips off at 5 pm Pacific with local coverage on KGW and in the national spotlight on ESPN. As always, the radio call is available on Rip City Radio 620 and the Trail Blazers mobile app.
