Dropping to the 41st pick just saved us from being mad with the pick @31.

I was thinking during the day that trading the 31st pick for the 41st pick isn't that big of a deal.  The reason I say this is that the Hawks would not have taken the Players that slid into the 2nd round like Semi Ojeleye or Juwan Evans.  They would have picked someone like Frank Jackson or Wesley Iwundu. The Hawks like Shooting Guards, and ones who can handle the ball & Pass is "icing on the cake" for them.

There are a couple of ways to look at this:

1- the players they coveted were gone by 31.

2- they took 31 from us because anytime you can take an asset from a division rival you should.

The end result is still the same. Giving up 31 sucked.
