I don't know if we made an offer.  I have to believe that we did make a call.   But Poor Paul Milsap probably wishes that he could have finished in Atlanta. Nate would have played him in JC's absence.   His Vet Status and defense would have been appreciated here.  Now he sits the bench in Philly... on the IL... It's like seeing your hero at a homeless shelter.

Can't see Paul wanting to come here given that he wants to control the ball and Trae wants to control the ball.  Makes it tough to have both on the floor at the same time.  Booker is a much more natural pairing since (while he can do some playmaking) he plays off the ball.

Sap I think would have given Trae a chance to play off ball some.  High Post action and gives us a look at what a ball handling threat in the high post (not PNRing) can do.
