Look I love the guy and the leadership and spark he brings to his hometown as one of the team’s ambassadors. Having said that..

We apparently offered him $100 mill and he countered with 140 and we don’t wanna do it.

I’m with Alex on this. Stay flexible and try to play Grissom at SS he’s got a lot of game this kid and a lot of defense like Swanson provides.

I like him but… I won’t be mad if he moves on.

I can totally see him in LA, he fits. I’d hate it but he fits as a Dodger.

Guess he was sleeping last offseason when our ownership let everyone walk because they didn't wanna pay them big money. If he wasn't sleeping, seems like he's chasing money knowing it won't happen here.

I think AA just doesn't like grossly overpaying guys.   Hawks owners are cheap.

The Dansby thing was good though. We had Grissom sliding over to SS. He will be fine. We will miss Swanson in the locker room as a leader but I’m not horribly sad to see him go. Love me some Swanson while he was here though for sure. The ring year was special!
