Question of the Day 1-30... One thing about the Hawks.

I flipped between a few games over the last few evenings.   One thing I can say....  We don't have any power finishers.

Got caught up watching Antman.  Whenever Minny's offense starts sputtering, he just goes in and dunks it.   I mean a very aggressive attack on the basket.  He already knows that he will either score or get fouled. 

We had that once in a guy name Nique.  We didn't see it again until Josh Smith.. but he preferred shooting from outside after a while. 

You look at Antman, Zion, Joel, Malik Monk, Banchero, even sorry Cam Thomas.  A lot of teams got that guy who will just aggressively attack.

When you look at us, we are the Kings of Finesse.   When we get an inkling of aggressiveness, we get happy.

JJ has moments that he can be aggressive.  Clint can be aggressive with help.   OO can be aggressive with help.  Bey is probably the one player that tries to be aggressive without help.   But all and all; we're finesse.   We look like a team full of George Gervins out there. 

What can we do about Aggression?

We have a ball dominant, playmaking PG. We don't get the dunks from him, but he drives to the basket for contact or lob every game. This is also likely the next step in JJ's game as he becomes more of a playmaker and handler.

This is what we want from both JJ and OO... We want them to be able to catch the ball on the wing or the perimeter and go straight in an dunk it.  Like this:
