GRADE - - 2024 DRAFT.

All, or almost all, talking heads give the Atlanta Falcons a poor or very poor grade in this year's draft.

Drafting a QB in round #1 apparently upset their thinking that they couldn't even think at all after this.

I like their #1 round pick for two reasons.  First, they needed a back-up QB.  Second, they prevented the Saints from getting him!

Their next four draft picks all went to the defense: Othorhoro, DT, Trice, EDGE, Dorlus, DT & Bertrand, LB.  

Do any of us believe that our new head coach and all his assistant coaches had anything to do with who was drafted and in what order?  After all, they are the ones who are going to be working with these players and building the future Atlanta Falcons team.  

Sure, most of us can say - Shoulda, coulda, ought to have.  Ignore all this.  What do you think of the players we did get in this summer's draft??

Looking back, we should have taken a edge at that pick.  Penix may be ok, but we needed that edge bad as it turns out.
