Van Halen doesn't mind if people DOWNLOAD music

I know most of you are rap/hip hop fans. But it;s cool to

see someone that will not come of as so greedy.

Alex Van Halen said that the band was not concerned about fans downloading the three new songs from the Internet rather than purchasing the complete hits compilation.

"No concern at all," he said. "The music is there, and if people figure out a way to get it, more power to 'em. I think the ultimate goal of music is that, once you've made it, as many people as possible hear it. That's basically our feeling about it."

Honestly, I understand why downloading music is illegal

and stuff. But music stars make so much money and they

come off as greedy. ESP when the music(Most music these

days)is subpar. Part of being a fan of musicians is they

put out the music and you buy it to keep the musicians

going. However, as I said these days singers just make

so much of touring alone. Even if I did download the 3

new songs I STILL will buy the CD this time just so I

can show my support.
