Nets and Nuggets trying to deal

Seems the Nets might get a few draft picks from this after all. They are mentioning three first round picks. Now I am assuming the Nuggets are still giving Kenyon that huge offer, plus they are now going to give up three first round picks.

Man, Kiki must think he is the second coming of Charles Barkley!

Sounds as if this deal may go.

Three first round draft picks? Plus, all that money

and for seven years? Wow.

And, it seems they have a TEAM for him to play with.

One has to ask, where does all this money come from?

I know, we all throw these figures around like they are

really nothing, just big money.

Still, Don't they have a cap or something? What do all

these other players make? Must be some really good

creative accounting going on somewhere.

Yeah how are they able to give him a singing Bonus? What's going to happen is when Nene becomes a free agent they aren't going to have enough money to sign him. Hopefully the hawks can swoop in and sign the big Guy.

I can see the Nuggets signing Kenyon for $85 mil, even is he technically isn't what many people feel is a max player. But three first rounders AND all that money? Bad move.

I just realized this myself, but I recall reading that the Nuggs had six 1st round picks in the next two? drafts? That being the case, I'm sure there's some stipulations on those picks (as well as who they're from), thus it makes it much more palpatable...much more. Having to sign six guys to deals...that's a lot (of players) for a playoff team...
