Any Thoughts on a new assistant Coach?

If it were up to me, we'd chuck Lon and bring in Chuck D...

However, with Emuss now gone, who do we go to?

I know a lot of people will say... Nique, Nique, Nique... Well, Nique is a good thought however, I would groom him for GM rather than Coaching. Great players make lousy coaches (save Bird).

Here's a couple of names off the top of my head:

Terry Porter. IF he has called it a day, getting him in here to teach Defense would be great.

Tree Rollins. I know he's in the DL but maybe he'd consider working with the Hawks.

I've said it plenty of times and I'll say it again, Alex English is the guy I really want to see on our bench. I think he could really help out JT, Dion, and DJ.

But, I'm pretty sure he'd much rather take the job in Denver, if it is offered to him.

Terry Porter is a good idea... i like the idea of having a POINT GUARD lead a team. He can bring the TEAM concept to ATL.

Jeff Gundy would be nice with all the experience... but he has more opportunity and better coaching jobs elsewhere (not to mention higher coaching jobs- like HEAD COACH).
