BOShforRoy
Yo, as many people might now know, Peja has just asked for a trade. Do you think he will be traded or will he calm down. i don't see anyplace else where his game can flourish like it does in sacramento. the system really helps him but he can really help every other team. Any trade possibilities?
Brxa
there will be suitors for sure, he is a top tier talent for a very reasonable salary. Maybe Indiana, it has been shopping artest, and Bird likes Peja, he'll prolly try to toughen him up a little.
Brxa
Why?? ____________________ Asked about lessons learned from these years of coming up short in the postseason, Webber paused and then spoke at length about the need - in whatever occupation one resides - to "always go with the ones (who) are the hardest workers and who, when your backs are down, they're the ones who will step up." "Don't go with the ones who just flow through it," Webber added. "Go with the ones that it hurts them to lose. Go with the ones like Doug Christie. Go with the ones that'll give everything and be the scapegoat for your company, for your family, 'cause those are the ones that will really put their all into it. "It's really easy to disappear in tough times. And the true character of a person, I think, is your effort and your mentality when you don't know how things are going to turn out." That, friends, is a coded message to a teammate - or perhaps more than one. And you can imagine that the next question, around Kings Nation if not the locker room itself, is the one about whether Webber of all people is fit to deliver it. Bulldog
He would be deadly in San Antonio or Miami where there is a dominant big man who can kick out from a double team. But Sacramento will want more than Eddie Jones from Miami, and more than Rasho from San Antonio. Maybe a deal of Peja and Christie to Phoenix for Marion and Joe Johnson would get it done. But the Kings are probably trading like for like while downgrading there. Tim Thomas and Mike Sweetney for the same package from NYC? Maybe some sort of package to the Timberwolves for Wally Sczerbiak? Either way, it looks like it will take a while for Sacramento to find the right deal.
