Gray Mule
There is a new way to rate N.B.A. players -- it is expensive and only a few teams use it. After reading the Indiana Pacers rating, I would love to see how our Hawks roster would show up. Check out the story and see what you think of it. http://www.indystar.com/article.php?pacers03.html Gray Mule
Admin
Thats a very interesting article. I have read articles before that were done using Sagarins ratings systems and the man is very intelligent no doubt. I did know that Cuban used some type of ratings system that he had been presenting to Stern because of bad officiating, but I didnt know it was done by Sagarin also. I sure would love to see where our players rate, and where some of the all-time greats would rate, like Larry, MJ, Magic.......I bet they all would have scores higher than anyone in the league right now. Guest
Here's another link --- this makes you wonder how much FREE TIME these guys have, though... http://high5.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=110977 One interesting thing about the Sagarin team rankings is that it indicates the Hawks already overachieved last year...More than any other team than the Raptors. Admin
Well I like that article and I agree with most of it, I especially like the superstar tag along with JT........but I cannot for the life of me figure out where he gets that JT has Iverson like ability to score, only with far superior ballhandling skills. JT is a good dribbler and can drive on anyone, but there arent many players in the game that can break someones ankles more than AI.......only Francis is better in that area in my book. Oh well, thats still a good analysis of our team though and hopefully we can improve our complimentary and bench players this year while having JT and Reef to get better. Guest
Geeky white guys shouldn't put their faces at the bottom of every webpage either...At least I know that someone else agrees about Michael Redd...It's kinda sad that he is gonna get so little playing time in Milwaukee, b/c I think he'd be a great fit in Atlanta... This guy's numbers tend to favor the more athletic players like a Garnett or Duncan, which is the way the NBA is evolving right now anyway...I would be willing to bet his system would not have worked when the Pistons were dominated, though.... Gray Mule
Interesting - Wasn't the same program, however. This one didn't once mention how our defense improved after the addition our defensive specialist. Guess we got no respect from that program. Seems we had two good players and the rest were only fair, at best. I.R. being filled all year had more to do with where we ended up than anything else.
