Blunt91
I hope we just signed him for training camp. Why didn't we ask Ekezie to join us for training camp since he played well last year in preaseason.
Plainview1981
This guy isn't fit to be a on CBA roster. This is like the 3rd time he has been here. He shouldn't even be in camp.
Vafan
Gosh, I hope he is just training camp fodder. My local YMCA has some better ballers than him.
Spiral
Another big man thats past his prime. Great
Plainview1981
Pig Miller had a prime?
CBAreject
I think that one year he averaged about 3 and a half points and a couple hard fouls per game. That was his prime. Maybe we can package him for a 63rd round choice in the MLB draft.
Sage11
Is this a bad dream? We cannot be serious about keeping "porky" on the roster. I am deeply puzzled and disturb by this move. This guy will not help sell any tickets at Phillips.
tmac13
This is just stupid...Even if its just to fill out the training camp roster why not bring in someone with at least a tiny bit of potential..Pig sucked 5 years ago, why even bother........There would have to be a 100 guys that are available that are better... Nicholasp27
it's not just training camp fodder he was actually SIGNED! what was the point? he's just gonna sit on the injured list all year...
Plainview1981
Billy Knight does shyt like this JUST LIKE PETE did. Why did he get a new contract with signings like this? I wonder if he will get another three years if he can lure Roy Tarply or Chris Washburn out of retirement.
Blunt91
I highly doubt he was signed for the year. NBA teams sign players for the preaseason as well, they aren't out there playing for free regardless of whether they are apart of the regular roster. Still Miller could be someone they call up if Willis, Collier or Drobs gets injured.
Plainview1981
He stunk the other 3 times he was here. Stupid people make the same mistake over and over again expecting a different result.
AHFan
I think everyone needs to take a deep breath...this is obviously a body for the big guys to bang against during camp. Nothing more.
Traceman
Pig is a nice guy with a good attitude who works hard and he already lives in Atlanta. He has NBA experience and we need big bodies for training camp. Why not bring him in? With Collier, Drobnjak and Willis all with guaranteed contracts and all slated to be on the active roster when the season begins, what is the likelihood that a decent young Center with upside is going to come to training camp with us? I can't see any scenario under which Pig will be on the 12 man roster or even on the IR when the season begins. What is the big deal?
DominiqueWilkins
Quote: Pig Miller had a prime? The only prine Pig Miller came across was being in eatting contest. Pig Miller is a joke, and don't expect him to make the team.
