This is just stupid...Even if its just to fill out the training camp roster why not bring in someone with at least a tiny bit of potential..Pig sucked 5 years ago, why even bother........There would have to be a 100 guys that are available that are better...

I highly doubt he was signed for the year. NBA teams sign players for the preaseason as well, they aren't out there playing for free regardless of whether they are apart of the regular roster. Still Miller could be someone they call up if Willis, Collier or Drobs gets injured.

Pig is a nice guy with a good attitude who works hard and he already lives in Atlanta. He has NBA experience and we need big bodies for training camp. Why not bring him in? With Collier, Drobnjak and Willis all with guaranteed contracts and all slated to be on the active roster when the season begins, what is the likelihood that a decent young Center with upside is going to come to training camp with us? I can't see any scenario under which Pig will be on the 12 man roster or even on the IR when the season begins. What is the big deal?
