But seriously, once Childress and Smith improve their outside shooting, they will be tough to stop! We just need a big man or two!
yee
Lol CBA... even if we DID win all of those heartbreakers, there is no way we would beat out teams like the Bobcats and NO, at least when you look at talent + veteran level. This isn't like last year when we at least had some experienced guys like Bob Sura and Jax to energize our offense. There is nothing wrong with winning one game once in a while. yee
Oh yeah, and as for the game, Hawks were SO robbed it's not even funny. Iverson tripped over his own feet and falls to the ground. 2 Seconds Later, he PICKS HIMSELF UP and drives right into the paint, in the midst of charging into Harrington... The least the refs coulda done was gave them a no-call on that Jackson foul that was questionable-at-best.
clrumph
I hate it right now that we lost tonight but I won't care about this loss or all of the other close calls when we have the most ping pong balls in the lottery this summer!
Gray Mule
How was running over a set player not charging? Guess it depends on who is running into who. Hawks played a great game, made some great shots and grabbed some timely rebounds. How about the 76ers hitting ALL their free throws in the fourth quarter, is that unbelieveable, or what?? Hawks missed only two, but that's the difference. Those two misses would have made Atlanta the winner!!
CBAreject
I'm happy knowing that we could've won and that Childress played very well. He continues to look like a very solid player, and he has out-played Luol Deng in the last month.
Iman
It was a very fun game. Management put on a bigger than normal show for the third sellout of the year. We were robbed, but we also made some questionable coaching decisions. As our players and Coach mature, we'll win those kinda games. Still, even though I was at the game, I didnt mind the close loss. Plus, given the largely pro-Iverson crowd, it really wasnt a home game anyways, and we can use the potential draft position.
