cyman3
Before u say anything or even begin to react... i want u to know a couple things 1)Age- 09/06/62 Willis 08/05/62 Ewing so this is a matter of a month difference in age 2)Size- 7' 245 lbs Willis 7' 255 lbs Ewing so both are similar in frame... 3)Stats- very, very similar in numbers... go to nba.com and find out urself. Ewing wants a RING, plain and simple. hes willing to have 1 more year of NBA and call it quits... ATLANTA has a good chance, will he come?

Playoffs03
i read something about ewing seeking a coaching job or something. anyways, i think willis is in better shape, a better player NOW, can play both F and C, i didn't know their stats were so similar before i checked, but still, i will take willis over ewing. Sage11
Noooooo. Toward the end of his career, Ewing was fragile. We need durable players--- even if they are old and washed up. We may need them to play in addition to mentoring our youth.
cyman3
Is it that bad of an idea? He isint going to get heavy minutes. Shoot, in fact hes going to be behind Mohammed in the rotation. C: Ratliff, Mohammed, Ewing PF:Abdur-Rahim, Henderson SF:Robinson, Crawford SG:Johnson, Glover PG:Terry, Dickau, Email hes coming in for 1)Experience- hes been in the league for a while, knows what must be done... never won a ring, but has been an allstar for a long time 2)Motivation- while he didnt get his chance to motivate the knicks during their run as the 8th seed champions, he should get another chance here. Dont let another chance slip bye... 3)Mentor- he got Great Foot Coordination (something Mohammed lacks). Maybe he can show Mohammed some moves since Mahorn is gone. playing wise, he could be used for 6 fouls on SHAQ.
Guest
YES.he is done.Fat,out of shape, struggles to play 5 minutes and he is a bad idea as even a 3rd stringer.he is done.
Admin
to other options, namely Willis. Big Kev is better than Ewing at this stage of their careers, and Ewing will likely retire this offseason. Willis wont play major minutes, but when he is in the game he still puts up numbers somehow. Also, it would be a class act by the team to bring back a loved player from the glory days to finish his career here.
