Gadzuric for Hawks Center!

I am starting the campaign to get Gadzuric to the ATL.

He avg. 7 pts 8 rebs in 22 minutes last season. 1.3 blocks.

I've been doing that for abut 2 weeks. I think he

could play about 28MPG and give us 9PPG 9RPG and

close to two blocks and shooting about 48-50% and

he is close to 7 foot and is about 250-260?

He's not that great, but he's a huge upgrade over what we have. What I do like is that he has somewhat of a mean streak and that crazy look in his eyes. We need a little bit of that to balance out the good guys in Chill and Williams.

I'll sign your petition, because he might be the best C we really have a chance at landing this year. We're not getting chandler, dalembert etc...

A huge upgrade over what we have but definately not the answer. I would be happy to have him as long as he dosn't cost alot.

That's the first thing I noticed. There really isn't

that mean streak on the Hawks roster right now. He'd

be good starter for the short term and a good backup

in the long term.

Everybody is mentioning Chandler & Dalembert, but I don't think they are that great. ....especially if they ask superstar money. If Al..Smoove... Marvin...Chill are going to be the core of our team...we really don't need to spend a lot of money on a center....however we do need somebody to go down in the paint and get nasty....Gadzuric.

well we do need a real center at some point, but we don't need to overpay to get a center right now.

Chandler and Dalembert are sure to get overpaid this summer.

Yes, the Hawks need a big time rebounder. Every team

that has won the title the last 20 or 30 years has

probably had one with the exception of Chicago. It's

amazing how they are the exception for a number of

things.

Horace Grant & Rodman were both pretty good rebounders for the Bulls. Rodman cleaned the glass better than anyone for a time there.

Back to the subject, I wouldn't mind Gadzuric. I also wouldn't mind us taking a chance on Diop or Curry either.

I'm on board for this as well. It seems that he is the odd man out in Milwaukee now. Overpaying for middle of the road centers will get us nowhere. Gadzuric is just what we need.

Don't really like Jerome James. It seems as if he

only does something 1 out of every 3 or 4 games.

But I guess he'd be better than Collier who proved

this year that he doesn't belong in the NBA.

As a back up center...I want him to destroy penetration and rebound....think he could do that....then again I wouldn't mind Stromile as a back up 5.

I wouldn't waste a dime on either of them..Jerome has had about 3 good games in his entire career, all in last years playoffs..As far as Gad goes, go read the Bucks message boards, while he blocks a couple of shots a game he is softer than Collier..He gets pushed around easily..

Jerome does have one of the best dumb quotes I have ever read..it goes something like this......................When told that Coach McMillen said that he wasn't a team player, Jerome responded, "I don't know what that even means. I just worry about Jerome"....

well he supposedly had a complete epiphany halfway through last season, realizing that his ego was out of control and that he wasn't producing what he should. He supposedly was alot more selfless and determined after that

Please...I have seen a lot of Gadzuric...Collier is probably one softest 5s in the league...he really brings nothing we need. U don't avg 8 rebounds in 22 minutes standing around being soft.

THe fact that he atleast blocks some shots leads

me to believe he is atleast a tiny bit tougher

than Collier. Haven't been to a Bucks board, but

sometimes a player just probably needs a change.
