Wurider05
How good of a pro do you guys think he can be?
RAHMOR
I think he'll easily be a high-quality sixth man and a part-time starter. His height will limit him for being a consistent starter because it dictates he must have point guard skills. I see him being able to bring fire off the bench the way Bobby Jackson did for Sac. I also see him winning 2 three point contest at the all-star game and at least finishing second for sixth man of the year or and possibly winning once. Sage11
I don't see a limit on a man who can single-handedly score most of your points in a quarter in crunch time. Do I want him on the floor 40 minutes a game-no, but 30 as a marksman, yes. I think we need to wait to see how good or bad defensively he will be. Most college players have a hard time playing NBA defense when they first enter the league- lets see how quickly he picks it up. However, I think this kid can be special, one of the greatest offensive specialist of all times. If Woody runs picks and screens for this kid like the Pacers ran for Reggie Miller or Detroit ran for Hamilton, watch out!!!!!

I see him as a slightly smaller (I think?) but more creative Hubert Davis. Hubert (one of my all-time favorite players) relied on a quick release to do his scoring, which didn't translate to the quicker NBA so well. Salim has varied ways of getting his shot off, and the lefty thing doesn't hurt either!
jaywalker72
I see him more as a sooped-up Lindsey Hunter, which would be a tremendous value at 31.

Traceman
we have an absolute steal on our hands but offensively, I think the comparison is right on. I do think Salim has a chance to be more explosive though in the mold of the ultimate 6th man, Vinny "The Microwave" Johnson!
sinctybldh
Vinnie Johnson is the best comparison I have seen. He is going to be a very good player off the bench for us for many years.
