McGary will work is way up the draft board...When McGary played in NCAA tourney, he was virtually unguardable in the post being 6-10 250lbs.. Unfortunately for Michigan fans he didnt really play much this season....he will go anywhere between 18- 24 provided that he is able to workout effectively as he is coming off back surgery in Feb....I would love to see him in ATL

Not to beat the Michigan Bandwagon to death, but Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson would fill two major holes of the Hawks. I still believe Robinson and McGary would excel in Buds system.

Will Danny take a gamble on Mitch McGary? He is 6-10, 255lbs, very agile, and has the energy level of a Tyler Hansborogh / Kenneth Faried type player. Now the real question is do the Hawks take a chance on a kid that doesn't really have a huge body of work? He could come in and allow Al Hoford play the PF position, and possibly we could package Milshap for a lottery pick to draft for our other needs at SG/SF PG- Teague SG- Need / Lou Williams SF- Need / Korver PF- Horford C- McGary

I actually would like the pick for the Hawks, but he probably wont be on the board when we pick. He has a super quick release, probably one of the best shooters in college basketball, BUT He doesnt defend that well.

I hope we can put the Doug Mcdermott talk to rest....esp after he got shut down by Baylor

I watch a ton of college basketball, especially big ten basketball and I wouldn't mine having Harris on our team, but he doesn't have the star power / upside that the hawks would ultimately need. We really need an athletic SF and center...we should just stay I. The big ten and draft Glenn Robinson Jr, who has a ton of upside...Go Blue :)The Hairston kid could be worth Consideration too...For some reason I expect Ferry to make a big splash this offseason....I gotta feeling....

I wanted Tim Hardaway JR too....we still may get him in a trade if they want Teague bad enough

If we can Tim hardaway Jr and a 1st round from the Knicks for Teague then I will be ecstatic....Knicks are desperate so that could work.

He avg almost 5rpg....which is second to McGary 8rpg on our team...

Let's hope he will be available, Michigan's head coach didn't run plays for Glenn Robinson, b/c last year the offense was ran through Burke, and this year the offense was run through Staukas and McGary until recently. Now that McGary is out for the season, the Michigan's coach has finally decided to showcase Glen Rob. I think we have the right coach in place that Glenn Rob can excel and reach stardom...maybe not 'super stardom' but allstar potential level. He has more upside that Kwahi Leonard, plus he is extremely coachable and plays great team ball. I would not be surprise if he goes in 8 to 12 draft pick range.

I realize we are months away from real draft talk, and I'm a Mich Alum/Fan so i maybe a little biased. So much talk around Wiggins, Parker, Randle and dont get me wrong I would love to have any of them, but another potential late to mid lottery pick is Glen Robinson. Definitely fits a need at the SF spot, athletic, can shoot long range and run the floor. Picture a Luol Deng with more upside...

Antić and Muscala will be our Centers, and Brand & Noguiera will play the PF positions...Otherwise you are correct, not an exceptional explosive roster, but should be a fast paced gritty basketball team.

Ferry doesnt have to make all his moves public just appease people who dont understand that this is a business. Teague knows now that this is a business so he best bring his best every night b/c his replacement his right behind him.....

Yes...Mitch McGary will be a lottery pick next year..Horford Jr is solid and has improved but still doesnt really have any low post moves, below average range jumper, and most importantly he use to get pushed around easily on the block. I think he will get more playing time this year, but make no mistake Mitch McGary is a Star.....anyone who watched the NCAA tourney can attest to that.....As a Michigan Alum and Hawks Fan I would love for the Hawks to get Glenn Robinson III or Mitch McGary without question

Ferry basically said our doctors looked at him and we decided to pass.....sounds like a smart move to me..there is a reason he didnt want to work out for teams.

We need a point guard that can run the Pick & Roll and we need Horford to play PF. then yes he would make the All Star game every year
