  1. We have some leverage by owning his Bird Rights...so if Milsap wants to get more money then a sign & trade is the way to go...Plus favors is being paid 12mill per year so Utah cant afford both
  2. We own his bird rights, so he can get an extra year if a sign & trade occurs.
  3. Please tell me what Cody Zeller brings to the Hawks...We already have Muscala...we dont need marginal pieces - we need a difference maker that can get us into the Finals... I know this is new territory for us, but let's please dream bigger
  4. Trade core pieces of a team that went to the ECF for the first time for a guy who plays hard only sometimes...This is NOT PLAYSTATION...
  5. We made it to the ECF and got swept.....We need to build on that momentum. Either a powerful rebouding force or a SG that can create his own shot and contribute right away. I'm sorry but drafting for a hope and a prayer for potential is not what we need. Marvin Williams had potential too. Time to compete for a title...not another bench warmer that wont see the floor in Coach Bud's system.
  6. Atlanta Trades Dennis Schoerder, Mike Scott, Future 2017 draft pick, for #6 Pick & Nik Stauskas. The #6 pick gives us some options, and acquiring Nik Stauskas to learn under Kyle Korver would be great for the future of the Hawks...Plus me being selfish I would say we keep our #15 pick too; which would make it the best draft in Atlanta History...
  7. Kaminsky is not strong at all...he woud get push out of the post easily. The main knock on him is whether he will translate to the league. He may just be a another cody zeller..
  8. Don't see NYC trading the pick...NYC is the media capital so they need to make a splash, no matter how small. They will hold on to see if Russell falls to them or draft the International Kid
  9. This would set us back from ECF contention....That big "IF" Schröder improves his outside shooting...I don't like the deal, getting Winslow would be great though...
  10. Exactly...If anything we trade Dennis...no way we trade Teague
  11. He is a good player, that could give us some more creativity in the backcourt, but I'm not sure its a real need unless we plan on trading Dennis
  12. Drafting a a SG that can create their own shot and acquiring a Rebounder
  13. He should be the first off the bench. The playoffs proved that Kyle can't create his own shot and his defense is mediocre. I like Kyle alot, but if we expect to be back in the ECF we need more talent at the SG position and get someone to rebound the ball.
  14. Not exactly. Knicks have to win now...Carmelo is 31 years old and they were hoping for the 1st or 2nd pick, so the 4th pick is definitely on the trading block for the right asking price. The knicks have no leverage, so we could offer Milsap for the Pick straight up.
  15. Here is a thought. Would you sign & trade Paul Milsap for the #4 pick in the draft to NYC. Who btw is very desperate... With the 4th Pick you draft Justice Winslow and with the #15 Trey Lyles from kentucky...Depth is they key. It will be very scary to see how coach bud could develop these two players and Winslow has the potential to be a star in a few years. In Free Agency Sign: Greg Monroe Pg- Teague / Schröder SG- Korver / Bazemore /Sefalosha SF- Carroll / Winslow PF- Horford / Mike Scott C- Greg Monroe / Muscala / Antić
  16. Kaminsky challenge is his lack of strength and quickness and that will get exposed in the NBA....he is more of a cody zeller type of a player. I agree we do need size, and Kaminsky can shoot the ball, but I would only draft him if he fell to us at 15. Otherwise, draft Decker or hope that Devin Booker falls to us. Hawks need a rim protector/rebounder, and a SG that can create their own shot off the dribble.
  17. If the playoffs taught us anything, the Hawks need to improve on their rebounding, rim protector and someone who can create their own shot at SG position. 1) Decision #1 = Do we keep Milsap? If not not Alternatives: Option 1 -LeMarcus Aldridge Option 2- DeAndre Jordan Option 3 -Marc Gasol (No Chance) Option 4- Brook Lopez Option 5- Greg Monroe (Likely choice) Option 6- Enes Kanter (Likely choice) 2) Draft a SG/SF options a) Devin Booker b) Sam Decker c) RJ Hunter
  18. Here we go again with trading an Allstar point guard who is 26... Resign Carol for 3/27million I would go after Jimmy Butler, b/c we need a SG who can create his own shot
  19. Hawks need a player on the wing that can create their own shot...preferably at the SG/SF spot....I trust our management to make the right decision
  20. Decker would be a solid pick, but it doesnt help our rebounding challenges......Would love to see us move up in the draft somehow...
  21. Let me get this straight....In a PG driven league, you want the Hawks to trade our Allstar PG who is 26, for a kid who has barely played a year of basketball at the college level.....sigh
  22. Yea he is young and will learn shot selection...he will bounce back. I expect the Hawks to focus on driving to the paint and being physical with the Cavs in game 2....Also I would like to see Mike Scott on the floor

    We will win

I agree....we shot 4-23 from 3pt THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN......IT BETTER NOT.. GO HAWKS
  24. wolvetigers

    We will win

Typical Fair weather fan response above.... I get it - we dont have a real sports history, we havent won in any sport but baseball, and we have consistently underachieve, but damn show some support as a fan..The Hawks had one of their typical quarters off, this time in came in the 3rd quarter...Game 2 is a must win....and WHERE THE HELL IS MIKE SCOTT.
  25. Cleveland will be extremely tough and the only way the Hawk can win this series if we play a full 48mins; we can't have those quarters where we turn the ball over and shoot poorly. Odds makers in vegas give us a 38% We have the coaching advantage, if we dont have more than 10 turnovers per game, and Korver find his 3 point stroke and Teague is aggressive then we win....Cleveland has the best player in the World, and he makes everyone around him better, we have to play great.......With That SAID....HAWKS will be the underdog and will not have pressure like the first two rounds. GO HAWKS!!!
