  1. He looked great tonight. For a first game back I'd give him an A+
  2. It was a thing of beauty. The Sixers commentators were pulling out their hair, the Sixers started double teaming Teague almost at half court, and Teague still blew by everyone. It was amazing
  3. I would turn down a Derrick Rose for Jeff Teague trade... I'm actually serious.
  4. Really want us to crush the Knicks. Hate Woodson, hate New York sports, hate ESPN... Would love nothing more than to embarrass them all.
  5. Josh Smith had become a cancer to this team. Glad he is another teams' disease now.

    Lou Update

Our bench is a bit thin, so adding a player of Lou's caliber is going to help us out a lot. Nice to have two players in Cartier and Lou who can go off at any given time off the bench.
  7. Especially at that contract... People were saying Ferry was a failure because he didn't get Howard. Honest to God I'd rather Have Millsap on the team at 9 million than Howard at 20+. Howard just isn't the same player he was in Orlando.
  8. Gotta agree. I was a huge Josh Smith fan but his game went off the rails. I can't believe my eyes now that we have a PF who just makes the plays he's supposed to make and doesn't sabotage the offense to stroke his ego. I don't know how this team will end up doing this year, but I'm loving watching them play more than any team since the Jamal Crawford debut team.
  9. He's always had pretty high assists numbers when healthy
  10. They have a better shot than our current football team, unfortunately
  11. First Eastern Conference finals appearance in the city's history here we go!!
  12. The problem with the defense has been with our rotations IMO. I think our one on one defense has been pretty damn solid all across the board, with the exception of probably Teague who is still struggling a bit. I also think we have had some bad luck with teams shooting exceptionally well from the outside. Sure some of it is on our D obviously, but even if we end up being the worst 3pt shooting defense in the league we would still probably see a drop from the current 41% we are allowing (last year 38% was the worst percentage allowed).
  13. The chemistry between Teague, Horford and Millsap is sizzling. Loving it.
  14. I'm impressed by Millsap's passing... 4 assists per and very very few TOs. He's giving us what Josh gave us minus the passes that bounce off of the backboard lol
  15. Tons of parity in the league so far... Would be pretty amazing if it continued for the whole year. Every Hawks game this year has been a quality well played game by both teams if you think about it.
  16. Chris Paul got the majority of his assists in New Orleans running pick and pops with David West. Clearly he hadn't learned to pass "good" yet.
  17. Lolol... he isn't a good point guard because he's running the pick and roll with Horford and Millsap to perfection. Hater logic at its finest. Our team is the second best offensive team in the eastern conference and will probably lead the NBA in assists after tonight but our PG "is not a good passer". Seems legit. Same guy who said Schröder was hands down already better than Teague after a few summer league games... what's there more to say?
  18. Kyle has been one of our best players on defense this year. Averaging 1.8 steals and .8 blocks per game and playing good team defense all around.
  19. If we can tighten up our defense, no one will want to play us.
  20. Having a good PG off the bench is a great thing. Especially when you consider that Teague's problem is consistency and effort, having a guy like Schröder who can spell him when he's cold and push him in practice is going to continue to pay dividends for us this year.
  21. Rudy Gay is bad on both ends of the floor... Memphis traded him for basically nothing and got better after doing it. I'd rather have our current team than swapping Teague for Gay. Teague is a player on the upswing while Gay has seen his production erode each of the last three years (same for Lowry). Dennis has played decent in his first four games but has lots of question marks to his game still. It's a moot point though, because salary wise that trade is completely impossible. Gay and Lowry = 24 Million, Teague = 8 Million If we did trade Teague, or Lou, or Dennis, I would hope it would be for some interior help. The weakness in this team is clearly inside defense and rebounding (though we did a better job of both against the kings). Players like Lowry and Gay won't move the needle for this team.
  22. Having two very good PG on your team is not a problem IMO. Eventually we'll probably have to get rid of one of them but at this stage I love having Dennis off the bench rather than Royal Ivey / Devin Harris etc... Teague has been balling so far, and that's with his shot being very off. So I don't understand how anyone can question resigning him to a reasonable contract, especially when you consider that Teague has improved impressively every single year he has been in the league. People talk about his cieling but the truth is, every year he seems to elevate that percieved cieling more than just a tad.
  23. No place for that on the court, but not too mad at Dennis. He is young and God knows what he was thinking, but I'm sure he learned his lesson. Seems like a very intelligent kid outside of the groin grab.
  24. Players seem to know their roles already, as you don't see players just hanging around doing nothing like what happened with Woodson and to a lesser extend Drew. Can't ask for much more than that.
