No. LD got the right idea of playing the bench players for the long term benefit, but I don't think it's a good idea to get every bench player go in at the same time, especially when we're missing Marvin and Evans. And Joe Johnson need to take control... where's his aggressiveness that we see in the first couple of games where he got like 10 FTs per game?

Josh Smith or Al Horford must be in the game with these bench players. They're getting hammered with no resistence. I'm not feeling the Woody-esqued substitution of 4 bench players at a time either. They need to be eased in couple at a time.

I agree if it's an away game but the Falcons play very good at home. I haven't seen Ravens play so I don't know how good they are. I'm not buying into the hype that Falcons are the best team in the NFC though. They haven't beaten anyone without getting lucky yet. If they beat the Ravens though, then that may change.

Well, Hawks won't pull it out except for a miracle, but a good showing against the Magic in a while.

Loosing 50 lbs has definitely help Collins. He held his own with Dwight w.o double team. Hawks finally got their 7 footer with more than 2 in vertical.

^^ That's probably why they only allow a limited number of red flags in a game. In order to minimized interruption in the flow of the game. I think every sport should employ the system to minimized the errors, especially in the bigger games. You don't want the refs to cost your team the game because of a blown call. It only takes a couple of minutes rather than a whole bunch of disappointments at the end. It's like giving the coaches a couple of more timeouts. Is that such a bad thing?

Probably that game against Orlando, the Hawks kryptonite. And it's a back-to-back. And it's an away game. It's a plus if the Hawks be even competitive in that game.

I'm still waiting for the team to play Orlando to judge the new system. That's the only team in the east that can give the Hawks real problems. Even it's one game, one thing's for sure and that's Billy Knight was right all along in wanting to replace Woody with LD 2 years ago.
