I would like to see the Falcons take Conner at 24. Then take best OLB or DT in the second round. Jared Cook might be a good pickup in the second would be a steal in the 3rd. I also like the TE out of Florida Ingram if we could get him in the 5th. Probably need an offensive lineman in there but I wouldn't be upset if we went defense, defense, defense. I don't think we take an OLB high unless somebody like Cushing is sitting there at 24. Maybe another LB in the 3rd or 4th rounds. But with the way the Falcons drafted last year, I am going to enjoy and give them the benefit of the doubt regardless of who they pick. Hawk88

I heard on the radio that Marvin's back injury might be serious and season ending. This scenario is sounding like the Dermar Johnson saga. Marvin may never fulfill him immense potential now that his back is hurt. yeah, yeah, yeah. Another injury saves the kid's ego. Just watching Marvin walk around, his posture has always looked bad. This team can be scary good, seriously. Bibby and Joe Johnson are playing like all-stars. J. Smith can be better than anyone when his head is on straight. Horford -Passion. M. Williams- Looking better. Bench; Zaza-great year IMO. M. Evans, great 6th man, super D. R. Murray can give the scoring. This team has really improved. Could give anybody trouble in the playoffs. Josh is a head case. The guy was a good free throw shooter the last couple of years. Now he gets up there and clunks them. Tough loss, on the last play. JJ had made I don't know how many straight shots it seemed but he just got out of positon at the end. Tough break, great comeback and game. I don't fault any of them. Michael Johnson looks tall and gauky. Andre Bruce clone. I don't see him making a big impact in the NFL. Too easy to take his legs out from under him. Might be good at blocking Fg's though. Looks like a bust to me. Hawk88

I don't agree that he was the worst GM ever. He made some great trades. But his evaluation of talent was pathetic. Sheldon over Brandon Roy, Marvin over Paul, Acie over Thadeous Young. The list goes on and on. But trades, he got JJ, Bibb and make a few cap moves that were good. He had a lot of crap to unload when he got here. Hawk88

I have noticed Flip makes plenty of bad decisions and takes bad shots. I guess you let him play, if he's hot but when he goes cold you need to take him out. He is a sub, not a guy you can depend on. Hawk88

Even though I can't stand Marvin's game, I have to concur with Exodus. You guys are crazy just looking at Marvin's ppg averages. He use to score all his points during junk times in a game and couldn't do diddly when it mattered. He has canned 2 big 3's this year agianst Boston and Indiana. It not just how many points a game you score, its when you score them. Marvin still looks like a spaz to me when he takes it to the basket but if he can continue to develop his outside shot then who knows, maybe he can be better than average. Hawk88

Marvin is pretty much universally hated and that's because, he freaking deserves it. The guy should be in the WNBA. Josh Smith is not universally loved, tons of people were calling for him to be traded in a SNT deal before he signed his contract. But at least Josh plays like a monster at least 1 out of 5 nights. I don't think it's so incredible how bad the pics have been. It's just the handing onto them and wasting roster spots that chaps my ass. You know it's bad when ROYal Ivey is one of the bright spots. Hawk88

I confess this is a rant. Has anyone else noticed that the Hawks might have the worst record of any team for selecting second round talent. The list is amazing. Solomon Jones, Salim, Cenk Akol, Donta Smith, Royal Ivey, Travis Hansen, D. Anderson, Terence Morris, Hanno Mottola, Scoonie Penn, the list goes on and on. The bad news ist we draft these guys and then put them on the bench where they waste a roster spot with little to no production. They need to learn to unload these picks or use them on foreign players who can develop without taking up a roster spot and money. It's one thing to take a flyer in the second round, all the teams do. Its another thing to keep them longer than necessary because you drafted them and want them to succeed so you look smart. Like Solomon Jones, we are married to the guy because we drafted him. The only thing that I have noticed that has gotten bigger in his game the last two year is his butt. Seriously, his legs and arms are skinny as ever but his butt has expanded. Salim was another waste which was evident by the end of his firt year. The kid is just a chunker. Why in the world the Hawks had him on the team other than to have an evern worse record is beyond me. Maybe we learned last year by not having any pics. Maybe we dont' need any pics, we just sign decent proven veteran players and pay them a reasonable salary. We already have a few arguably start players in Johnson, Horford and Smith and some nice additional pieces. Hawk88
