"jump shooter in the house!"

Would absolutely love Ded and Bogs to somehow be obtained. I could see Hawks going at least 25-19 the rest of the way if that happened. Ded already fits the scheme LP wants to implement and Bogs is a desperately needed shooter to take pressure off the rooks.

I think Heurter is shying away from contact a bit because he injured his shoulder trying to take Joker's fat *ss .

I think lw3 pointed out in the game thread that the Hawks haven't played a team yet at home that is on the 2nd night of a back to back, and haven't the Hawks been in that situation at least 3 times?

I find it easier to be patient with a young team that is battling hard as this team has since the year rolled around, in this case winning is a bonus.

I don't think he will be drafted as high as he thinks. Another year where he had success might have guaranteed him a first round selection.

Personally, I hope he goes elsewhere if he signs for longer than 2 years. He only has about 2 good years left, imo. Braves should let Camargo and Riley battle it out for 3rd base in spring training.

I think Kuz must have said something about kg's mama

I'm not, Cam needs to work on his offensive game in the offseason and Deandre his conditioning. He is consistently bad on 2nd nights of back to backs and Hawks have played a lot of em. It doesn't help that his minutes per game are so high either..

Hopefully we see that every night. Whatever Lloyd said hopefully he remembers and repeats it when necessary.

Pacers got back in the game with the help of a few questionable calls by the refs, exactly like last nights game indeed.

Sure hope you right Spud. With the new lottery odds i'm actually more comfortable with 30 wins I hope they still get.

http://theathletic.com/1503942/2020/01/02/10-hawks-predictions-for-2020-including-new-contracts-trades-and-more/ I think you can read some of the articles for free from The Athletic. I paid the fee for the year, all kind of good stuff there. Some interesting stuff from Kirschner here that I thought fit with the topic of this thread

It can't be overstated what the impact is defensively simply by the other team having to take the ball out of the basket more often allowing half court defense to set up.

It is more important than roster improvement IMHO, more easily done. Can be done from within but I feel this retirement party for Vince every night and getting him minutes is coming at the expense of that. I like Vince a lot but this team was hurt badly by getting him minutes out of position on a consistent basis.- 364 replies

I can't help but think the fact Orlando took ill-advised 3 point shots instead of exploiting inside matchup advantages despite the fact they weren't hitting them had more to do with "improved defense" than any other factor- 364 replies
