Woody benching Lin is just speculation... This is from Woody himself, "Jeremy is a big part of what we do. He's our starting point guard." He had six years of coaching here and I honestly do think he's learned from his mistakes. Granted he'll still lean towards isolation offense and switching defense, his tendency of benching rookie PG's stops with Lin.

I think the issue the Hawks have with hiring coaches is that they're limited by the 1980 NBA Draft. (Pick #38) Terry Stotts 2002–2004 (Pick #12) Mike Woodson 2004–2010 (Pick #17) Larry Drew 2010–present Coincidence? I think not..

To be honest here, if it wasn't for his first 3 quarters, we wouldn't be here to complain about what his mistakes in the fourth quarter cost us. At least consider that before making a thread solely highlighting his mistakes when you have Marvin's $8 million dollar disappearing act, which impacted us just as dearly.

It's really tough to win with 5 players out and the refs riding Miami big time, but for what it's worth, great effort.

I couldn't pull up the specific statistics for his rookie and sophomore seasons, but since the 06-07 season Josh has lead the team in drawing charges ( current lockout season excluded ).. I seriously don't understand how you can refute the fact Josh is the first one to draw a charge, you don't really even need the statistics to see that. He's mastered the "head snap" flop and it's become a signature part of his game. Josh is a multi-dimensional weak-side defender, 'nuff said.

Jeff Teague's spacing and court vision on fast breaks is so damn bad, I'm already losing faith in his "point guard of the future" status.

I'm staying up to watch this game and I expect a damn win for it.

It's obvious we're going to lose this one, rack up the loss right now.. But the part that just gets under my skin and just blinds me with rage is that the zone defense that won us the first game we played against Miami is nowhere to be seen. Larry Drew I commend you for your services so far, but please, please, for every Hawk fan in the nation, for every fan of basketball out there, sit down, take a long look at yourself, and just ask yourself, "What the f**k are you doing coaching at this level?" EDIT: Okay, granted they ran the 2-3 zone the minute after I posted this, Drew should have brought it out as soon as soon as the game started. No excuse.

Ivan, Hinrich, TMac and the rest of the guys coming off bench are going to be pivotal in this game. Our secondary holds an advantage over Miami's and it's up to those guys to do damage while Miami's big three is sitting out.

The TNT crew seems pretty mad at Josh Smith getting snubbed.. Kenny went as far as to say he's the best 4 in the Eastern conference.

I dislike Drew as much as the next guy, but he made the right decision right there. The starters amassed that 20 pt deficit, while our bench was hot at the end and brought us back. It was the correct move.

On another note, L.D. has no backbone. I really want to punch him in that stupid, expressionless face of his. Hawks play through two senseless, horrific possessions and the lead escalates to twenty and L.D. just sits there and watches. STAND THE F**K UP AND SHOW SOME EMOTION!! YOUR TEAM'S COLLAPSING, SHOW SOME DAMN INTEREST!
