  1. I'd take Smith. Warrick can't do anything else than dunking. Smith can do everything else plus he could teach some things Al and Josh. Wallace is not even a shadow of himself.
  2. Drugs made Reingman to try to shoot 3 ball instead of inside game he was created for. What does JSmoove take?
  3. Edit: when young he was just flying: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-L__KlQ_GDI
  4. One of the best in game dunkers was Shawn Kemp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRkGFdSOFeU
  5. Again from Schumann (Day 2): "I don't know what to make of Westbrook. He's playing with confidence and has had plenty of highlights (including a throw-down off a Josh Smith airball)" "Josh Smith is still struggling with his jumper and he lost the ball a few times on drives as well." No one will give u a spot because of couple of blocks and a dunk, mr Smoove.
  6. I'm a little bit prejudiced towards him because of very negative opinions coming from Knicks fans. But yes, judging from interviews he's a good guy.
  7. Flip is poor's man Crawford (aka Crawful).
  8. We need true starting C period.
  9. We match up well against Miami. JO is good defender but not rebounder, JSmoove will outplay Haslem, Moon does little besides dunks when he's open. Chalmer's a rookie and luckily he doesn't go to the basket too often, so is Beasley who is upredictable and plays nice offense at times, but he tends to make dumb turnovers. They have no one else on the bench and often have to go small. Wade is Wade. One of the best playoffs players in the game.
  10. We need a coach with offensive plan, a guy able to adjust gameplan during the game. Orlando, Boston adjusted in second half, we were firing jumpers hoping for 3 pt streak (like against Lakers).
  11. Maybe he read my comment, because he wasn't ballhogging at all vs Magic and giving ball away when doubled. Too bad he couldn't hit anything including floaters some other poster here advised he should shoot when he struggles.
  12. Theo Ratliff is still one of the best shotblockers in the game. He whooped some *ss tonite.
  13. Joe's not good passer when he dribbles. When he's doubled he usually runs back instead of giving the ball away.
  14. The only person that can fire Woody is JJ. I don't see a reason why he would want to do this.
  15. Marcin wants: - 4-5 mln a year - 20+ mins/game (starting spot prefered) - warm climate is a big bonus. I haven't noticed him being more turnovers prone than average big guy, stats say different story (1/3 TO/game in 11.7 mins), but he doesn't get ball in offense too often. He's solid defender, reads game well. His biggest advantage over Zaza (besides size) is that he actually can jump. He can dunk from free throw line. Gortat is very raw offensively, he misses most of his jump shots, his FT shooting went down of lately. Like Pachulia, he hustles for rebounds on both sides of the court. And he can run, probably as fast as Zaza. Summary: Marcin is already too expansive.
  16. I agree that it wasn't foul. Rondo jumped into Flip and marked a shot. Smart play from RR but it's not Murray's fault refrees fell for it. This play killed the rests of spirit in our team though. They never showed up in 4th quarter.
  17. Poor guy is hardly moving on the floor. He is worn out, exhausted. He leads entire league in mpg and it never was good to him. Give him a break and you'll see what he's capable of.
  18. Of all proposed trades I'd trade ... Woody of course (I doubt any team would want him though). How's Horford supposed to make an impact on offense if he doesn't get the ball? And if he does it's away from the basket. I recon he has midrange jumper not worse than Boozer but JSmoove stands somewhere around 3 pt line so there's no chance for offensive rebound if he misses. And JJ wasn't, is not and won't be a team leader. Forcing him for that position is a big mistake.
  19. Pistons are only one win behind us. If anyone is catching us it's them.
  20. JJ is worn out. He's 3rd in mpg. 42 mpg in last 5 games.
  21. No, 6 is a good note. If you look at roster - team is currently underachieving. With 12-8 record you can't totally bash Woodson (yet). But I predict two or three more losses in the row (morale really went down lately).
  22. I agree to some degree. Bibby really sould make an opening pass from time to time. However he also should run the offense more often, sometimes he event doesn't touch the ball which is not his fault. Only one pick'n'roll, I don't know whom to blame for it. Johson didn't get one good screen to free himself from Artest. On the other hand he didn't give away the ball when doubled after pick and eventually turned it over. Fast break when Evans got blocked was dissapointing. Mo is a solid dunker, he should earn 2+1, instead and he decided to make straight shot off the glass. Horford was impressive, a real RoY which he was IMO. After 2 early fouls he came back stronger, did solid job defensively (you can't do much better than that against Yao) and played terrific offense showing nice touch around the rim. He wanted the ball, but he didn't get it in 4th quarter.
  23. Flip had decent game against Rockets. Solid D, only one stupid TO.
  24. Give the credit where credit is due: Artest is a terrific defender, Joe had no single easy possession, he had to earn hard all his points (BTW, what happened to his FT shooting?). Adelman wisely uses Yao. Rockets are very good rebounding team with Ming, Battie, Scola and Artest on the floor. Refrees where really nice to Yao. 4 moving screens set by him and no single whistle? He spent also more than 3 second in paint a couple of times.
  25. Marvin is probably the most consistent player in this team knowing his role and doing exactly what he's supposed to.
